August 2023 – YDLV Building Expansion

BH we are excited to share the interior demolition phase is complete! As well, my team submitted a revision to the building plans, which was quickly approved! The old elevator shaft is gone, and the driveway demolition has commenced along with further onsite groundwork. We are now beginning to put up the framing, mechanical, electric, and plumbing components.

We are on schedule for completion by beginning of January 2024, be’ezras Hashem! Please see the attached pictures and share our excitement! Stay tuned…

As we have been updating you on the various phases of Yeshiva Day Schools’ new campus progress, we are excited to share the news my team has begun the demolition phase of the remodel! In order to divide the current building into 24 classrooms, 2 dining rooms, offices and specialty rooms, much of the interior must be removed.

Although Verizon’s lease is scheduled to end at the end of the month, my team and I have consistently communicated with them; initially for their commitment to not renew their lease extension option, and then over the last 6 months, to negotiate an early departure. After hearing many no’s and non-responses from them, BH late Friday afternoon Verizon informed us that they will be completely out by Wednesday this week and our demo team can proceed with demolition of their space as well! This saves a considerable amount of time from my team’s construction timeline Bezras Hashem! We are excited to share with you the progress as the demolition proceeds, followed by the remodel and full build out. Stay tuned for further updates!
