I would like to share with you an update on our progress. For the last few months our design team has met weekly to develop a full set of design plans for the 1st phase of our campus, to remodel the existing building. Baruch Hashem our incredible team has met our deadline and completed the full design plan set this past Friday! They have uploaded the full set (over 1000 pages!) to the Clark County website where it will be reviewed and issued a building permit. As well, the full set has been sent to four contractors to bid on the construction, which includes grading of the empty lots, installing turf and two playgrounds, and the full remodel of the 28,000 square foot building. The bids are due back in three weeks, when we will choose the lowest most qualified bid. We anticipate the permits coming back around that time as well. My team continues to meet weekly to finalize interior design details which will be incorporated in the contractor’s final plans.
We are still on track to have the project ready for occupation in either August 2023 or January 2024, depending on whether Verizon elects early termination or not. Either way, we anticipate beginning the onsite improvements by April 2023.
I would like to a give a special thank you to my Vice President, Ashlee Arnold, for her expertise and consistent commitment to ensuring the project continues to move forward, ensuring every detail is accounted for! Thank you as well to Rabbi Mandel for his constant participation and hard work, Rabbi & Mrs Levine for their input on the classroom and playground design, and to the new interior design committee. We look forward to watching the shovels hit the ground very soon!
